WANTED: INTERN DESIGNER (SUMMER 2025)
Omnes is a multi-faceted design studio practicing in landscape architecture, urban design, planning, and art. We seek an Intern Designer for Summer 2025.
The Intern Designer will join the studio’s active projects and have the opportunity to gain experience across a range of conceptual design, planning, and/or construction processes. The Intern Designer’s participation may include working on the development of designs, presentations, and plans; creating illustrative graphics, renderings, data visualizations, and planting plans; researching materials and products; compiling drawings and specifications; taking part in site and nursery visits; and participating in public engagement meetings and charrettes with clients, collaborators, and community members.
We are looking for someone with creativity, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit. Our studio offers thoughtful design, expanding landscape architecture and planning beyond their typical bounds while working within an inclusive work process and ethically constructive culture.
This is a paid position based in Easton, Pennsylvania. Dates and duration are flexible, with a minimum 8-week commitment. Omnes offers a “hybrid” work model blending in-person and remote participation. The pay range for this position is $18-24/hour. For non-local candidates, a housing stipend and/or arrangements for short-term housing in Downtown Easton may be offered.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Enrollment or recent graduation from a landscape architecture program (or related degree)
- Excellent aesthetic sensibilities and iterative design abilities
- Strong writing & communication skills
- Experience in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of Rhino and GIS is helpful, but not required
- Must be legally able to work in the US
