ArtsWalk Court Street Woonerf

A multi-modal streetscape connecting the Arts District

The ArtsWalk Court Street Woonerf allows for circulation of pedestrians and cars within a safely designed urban environment. The streetscape creates a physical link between the ArtsWalk and the Allentown Arts Museum and Arts Park for the first time. The woonerf draws pedestrians through the arts district and enhances walkability of what once was a unwelcoming back alleyway. The design enhances the beauty of the façade of historic Miller Symphony Hall, which has recently undertaken architectural improvements.  This project was created as part of a collaborative team at Land Collective, with Laura Stedenfeld as Project Manager.
